Ingredients

  • 2 â…” cups milk *See notes below for milk type recommendations.
  • 1 small box instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz regular or 1.4 oz if sugar-free)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the dry instant pudding mix with the milk. Whisk or stir together vigorously for at least 2 minutes until the pudding mix is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken slightly. Ensure there are no lumps.

  2. Carefully pour the pudding mixture into your chosen popsicle molds. Insert the popsicle sticks firmly into the center of each mold, and attach any mold covers as needed. For stability and easy transport, place the filled molds onto a baking tray.

  3. Transfer the tray with the filled molds to the freezer. Freeze for a minimum of 8 hours, or preferably overnight, to ensure the fudgesicles are completely solid and firm. Once fully frozen, gently remove them from the molds and serve immediately for a delicious, creamy treat!

Recipe Notes

  • For the ultimate creamy texture, whole dairy milk is highly recommended. If you’re using dairy-free options, full-fat canned coconut milk will yield a very creamy fudgesicle, while almond milk typically results in an icier texture. Oat milk provides a good balance.
  • Both standard chocolate and “chocolate fudge” flavored instant pudding mixes work beautifully in this recipe; choose whichever is available or preferred.
